The Perfect (10) Paper Combination

Last Year, Neenah announced a revision to its flagship Classic brand with the addition of the Perfect 10, insuring its top ten performing colors across its four Classic brands: Classic Crest, Classic Linen, Classic Laid, and Classic Columns. Now, Neenah is launching the CLASSIC Writing, Text & Cover Tool Kit.

The Tool Kit showcases the variety of design alternatives and combinations available with the CLASSIC brands in one easy-to-use resource. It was created by Design Army to provide inspiration for every step in the selection process, and includes the following features:
• Large clean paper swatches of each of the Perfect 10 common colors across all six finishes (60 samples in all)
• Creatively blended paper color palettes, like a mood board for quick color and texture ideas
• A sheet cut calculator to help designers and printers figure out how they can optimize the number of finished pieces they will get out of a sheet of paper, minimizing cost and waste
• An envelope guide to help with the envelope selection process
• True-to-life design project examples that feature combinations of the CLASSIC Papers colors and brands derived from the mood boards/color palettes.

And since it is a Neenah promotion, it features some beautiful print and design, starting with the chevron pattern in black and white on the carrier folder.  The individual components are great - I love the Classic Color Mixer featuring the Perfect 10 colors as a common color with three additional paper pairings from the Classic brands (my personal favorites are No. 6 and No. 12) and reads like a paint chip - very smart. I am also partial to the Stationery component, featuring an identity system for a faux hotel as well as the menu from The Library, a ficticious cocktail bar.

The piece is fab but don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself - request your very own Classic Tool Kit from our online sample studio.
