The crowd of over 70 guests enjoyed the presentations by H.O.T.’s
Greg Shapiro and Leasa Maxx, Mohawk’s Jeff Waldvogel and USPS’s Bob Sevel. H.O.T. showcased their unique capabilities and
their vision of where the graphic arts industry is headed and how they are
adjusting to the changes. Mohawk focused
on their MakeReady website and Mohawk’s Specialty Substrates. The USPS demonstrated how the use of the QR
codes can lower the per-unit cost on print collateral.
Millcraft and Mohawk paper samples and promotional pieces
were available for the guest. Much interest
was expressed after learning about the unique attributes of the Mohawk products
and the new printing capabilities available to them. Additional representatives were available from
H.O.T, Mohawk and Millcraft to answer questions and further discuss the
specific marketing aspects of the numerous printed samples they received. Great job team!
